Saurav Banerjee is a distinguished business leader, investor, and entrepreneur with over two decades of diverse experience spanning media, entertainment, sports, finance, and the startup ecosystem. He is widely recognized for his ability to drive organizational transformation, launch disruptive ventures, and scale businesses across global markets.

He is the Co-Founder of Rules Sport Tech, a sports technology venture strategically partnered with Cricket Ireland, Cricket Scotland, and the Royal Dutch Cricket Association to launch the European T20 Premier League (ETPL). This initiative reflects Saurav’s vision of combining sports innovation with advanced technology to create world-class cricket platforms while fostering talent development across Europe. His leadership continues to redefine how sports, business, and technology intersect on a global stage.

Alongside his entrepreneurial pursuits, Saurav serves as Partner, Special Projects at OneAlphaNorth Capital, where he drives cross-border startup investments. He collaborates with U.S.-based partners and Indian venture capital firms to nurture high-potential startups. His deep financial acumen and experience in structuring investments make him a trusted advisor to founders and investors navigating the complexities of global capital markets.

Previously, Saurav was the Managing Director & Founder of MyyTake, a digital-first platform in sports and entertainment. Earlier, he was associated with Kalaari Capital as a Venture Partner, supporting early-stage founders in building scalable enterprises. His guidance helped shape innovative ventures and contributed to strengthening India’s growing startup ecosystem.

Saurav’s corporate journey is marked by his long and impactful association with NDTV, one of India’s leading media organizations. Over 12+ years, he held several senior leadership roles, including Co-CEO, Group CFO, and Director of Finance. In these capacities, he led corporate financial reporting, treasury, internal controls, and investor relations while driving capital restructuring, fundraising, mergers & acquisitions, and statutory compliance. His strategic inputs were instrumental in steering NDTV through financial restructuring and organizational transformation.

Before his NDTV tenure, Saurav honed his professional skills with PwC’s Global Capital Markets Group, where he developed expertise in auditing, compliance, and international finance. His career began with Lovelock & Lewis (now a part of PwC), where he trained as a Chartered Accountant.

With strong expertise in M&A, financial restructuring, governance, risk management, and business strategy, Saurav has consistently acted as a catalyst for sustainable growth. He has launched new ventures, realigned operations, raised funds across equity and debt, and advised organizations on complex business transformations. Beyond the corporate world, he also served as a Board Member of Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun, where he actively contributed to leadership development and educational initiatives.
