1. PM-KISAN (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi)

Income support scheme for land-holding farmer families. Provides ₹6,000 per year, released in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.

Crop insurance scheme that covers farmers against crop failure due to natural calamities, pests, and diseases, from pre-sowing to post-harvest stages.

Under PKVY, States/UTs receive financial assistance of ₹31,500 per hectare for 3 years in organic clusters.

  • ₹15,000/ha (directly to farmers through DBT) for on-farm and off-farm organic inputs

  • ₹4,500/ha for 3 years for marketing, packaging, branding, and value addition

  • ₹3,000/ha for 3 years for certification and residue analysis

  • ₹9,000/ha for 3 years for training and capacity building

Revamped scheme to make agriculture more remunerative by promoting value addition, agri-entrepreneurship, agri-startups, infrastructure, research, and cluster-based development.
Includes project funding, agribusiness incubation, and support for district/state-level project planning with performance-linked incentives.

Provides timely and affordable short-term credit for crop production and related needs, including investment in agriculture and allied activities.
Offers:

  • Overdraft/term loan under a single credit limit

  • Interest subvention and prompt-repayment incentive (for eligible loan amounts, e.g., up to ₹3 lakh)

  • Simplified access to formal credit to reduce dependence on informal lenders

Aims to promote livestock development, improve per-animal productivity, generate rural employment, and strengthen value chains for meat, eggs, goat milk, wool etc.

  • Fodder development

  • Entrepreneurship development

  • Value-chain activities

  • Capacity building and financial assistance for eligible projects

Supports creation and upgrading of fisheries infrastructure (marine and inland) including landing centres, harbours, ice plants, cold storage, hatcheries, transport, and integrated cold chains to enhance fish production and post-harvest value.

A voluntary, contributory pension scheme for small and marginal farmers. Provides a guaranteed minimum pension of ₹3,000/month upon attaining 60 years of age.

A medium- to long-term financing facility to build post-harvest infrastructure and community-level agriculture projects such as cold storage, warehouses, sorting/packaging facilities, and small food-processing units.

Centrally sponsored scheme to formalise and support micro food-processing units, including individual units, SHGs/FPOs, and groups.
Includes:

  • Credit-linked capital subsidy

  • Seed capital for SHG members

  • Support for branding, marketing, and capacity building

Supports development of cold-chain infrastructure, pack-houses, and value-addition facilities to reduce post-harvest losses and enable higher value realisation. Also supports cluster-based food processing projects.
