During his 16+ year tenure at IndusInd Bank, he played a pivotal role in transforming the Two-Wheeler Loans business. Under his leadership, the portfolio scaled from ₹1,000 crore to ₹8,500 crore, establishing the bank as a dominant player in the segment. The business consistently held the No.1 position in the industry for over two decades, demonstrating sustained growth, strong distribution networks, and superior portfolio management.

Ramesh brings extensive expertise in business development, sales and distribution strategy, recoveries, profit centre management, and large-scale transaction-based retail lending operations. He has successfully managed pan-India teams, built high-performance sales structures, and implemented workflow efficiencies to improve productivity and portfolio health.

He began his career with Ashok Leyland Finance Ltd., gaining foundational experience in internal audit, commercial vehicle finance, and regional business management. His deep operational understanding, combined with strategic foresight and execution excellence, has enabled him to build and scale high-performing retail finance businesses with consistent profitability and industry leadership.
