Saikat Mookherjee is an internationally qualified researcher and consultant with over 24 years of experience in market research, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and development sector advisory. His career spans leadership roles at globally recognized organizations such as Nielsen, CyberMedia, Mott MacDonald, and Thinkthrough Consulting, alongside independent consulting engagements across India and abroad. Over the years, he has successfully partnered with governments, international donors, PSUs, corporates, multilateral agencies, and non-profits to design and implement projects that have influenced both policy and practice.

A postgraduate from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata, and a certified marketing research professional from the University of Georgia, USA, Saikat specializes in converting complex research data into strategic insights that enable effective decision-making. His expertise extends across diverse sectors including tourism, infrastructure, BFSI, energy, education, agriculture, WASH, gender, and technology. Known for his strong presentation and communication skills, he has delivered insights at high-powered board meetings and senior leadership forums, consistently ensuring that research findings translate into actionable strategies.

Among his professional highlights, Saikat briefly led Electropreneur Park, India’s first electronics hardware-focused incubator funded by MeitY, and served as a national Master Trainer for e-waste management under the MeitY–MAIT initiative, training more than 350 professionals across the country. His thought leadership is also widely recognized, with knowledge papers and expert articles regularly featured in leading publications such as The Indian Express and The Financial Express.
